Mesa Arch, in Canyonlands
By the time we entered Canyonlands, Koria, Kimball, Luke, Becky, and Jared had all taken a nap .. at least a short one. Koria, Kimball, and Luke were all sound asleep when we pulled into the Mesa Arch parking lot, so I volunteered this time to stay behind while Becky, Derek, and Jared hiked to the awesome view point. By Jared and Derek's description, Becky was her crazy and daring self and they refused to take pictures of her atop the arch, while is backed by a shear drop off on the opposing side. Sounds like my sis. Love her.
We grabbed some food from the Arby's in Green River on the ride home, them topped it off with a bag of jelly beans that we'd brought along with us. Becky and Derek did an amazing job keeping all four kids awake until we arrived back home that night. Great day!
It was a terrific day - we couldn't have asked for better weather. I had a great time and my favorite part was being with your family. The kids did great, but they were so exhausted by the end of the day. I kept having to hold Layne's head up to try to wake her up - she was one tired little girl. Thanks again for taking us with you!
