Layne fell asleep right before we arrived at the main hiking trail in Arches, so Becky volunteered to stay back with her so that she could get in a good nap. We hiked up to Landscape Arch and enjoyed keeping up to Kimball and Koria in the meantime.
Great pictures - it looks so beautiful with the red rocks agains the blue sky and the puffy clouds. It was very peaceful at the Mesa arch when Jared and Derek and I were there - we were alone and I enjoyed just looking out over the great expanse. Jared & Derek didn't get as close to the edge as I did, but I was wishing I was an eagle so I could fly out across the valley. It reminded me of my days at the Grand Canyon . . .
