I'm pretty sure that these were taken on May 11th and 12th...whatever the two days after our last posts were, that's when these are from. Lot's of business going on around here these days. Layne's a natural in front of the camera. Once she hears and sees the camera in front of her, she stops and throws the cheeser your way. Here she is, grinning from ear to ear, despite the fact that she was mad that she pulled herself up to standing in her crib and started screaming as a result. She didn't know how to get down! This may not be a big deal to most kids or parents for that matter, but for us with Layne, its huge. We are trying to work (among a long list of other goals) to get her walking and pulling herself up onto her feet. She went from screaming in the first shots, to grinning broadly after she realized that the camera was on her. Cracks me up!
Layne - you are AWESOME! I love how great you are in front of the camera - can we just say the Black Family's top model spot is a great competition for Koria and Layne . . .
ReplyDeleteLayne I think that is great that you stood up on your own. Keep on smiling for that camera. That is so different than a few other people who hide their faces when I try to get a picture.
