Days Leading up to California

Life gets busy. What can we say. Here's another series of lots of pictures with no so much of an explanation. This is due to the fact that I have taken pictures everyday over the last couple of weeks; I just haven't had a chance to post them. Here we go then ...

Koria's "princess" hairdo for church, March 6th. She requested it as such.

Layne likes to chew whatever she can get her teeth on. This particular day, she was enjoying the wooden rocking chair in our front room. I think this was Monday, March 7th.

Saturday, March 5th (Shoutout to Cookche! Happy Birthday to you, bey! Now you are as old as me. Doesn't it feel good?) Movie day for K&K. L&L were taking their nap. Jared and I were working like crazy to get ready for the trip. K&K picked "A New Hope" from the Star Wars series. Give them popcorn in a bowl with candy treasure on the bottom and you have two hours of time to get some work done. Works great. Darth Vader can be seen on the screen.

Friday, March 4th. Jared had been in SLC for an overnight business trip, so when the kids requested pancakes for dinner, I consented. I tried to teach K&K how to flip their own pancakes. They did a pretty good job too. Chefs in the making. I made them wear oven mitts though, on both hands.

  2. You are so lucky to have a Mom who can fix your hair so pretty Koria. Layne, can't you find something a little smaller to chew on? KImball it looks like your hands were well protected.
