First of all, a shoutout to Landon for your birthday, buddy. Sorry we didn't have a chance to call you to wish you a great one, but we did think of you. We headed back to Disneyland for somemore adventure, and this time, we started out in California Adventure Park. Not as much fun. Not as much magic. We spent until around 3:00 p.m. trying out the various rides there, before jumping back over into the Disneyland, where we rode Pirates of the Caribean multiple times (a family fav) and focused on the kids' favorite rides from the day previous.
One ride in Cali Adventure Park completely soaked us, and we spent a majority of the day drying off as a result.
The geyser conveniently went off right as I was coming around the corner to get soaked. That's me with K&K taking the bulk of the waterfall.
Gma and Gpa Black decided to give K&K some money to spend on something in the park for their birthday. As part of their gifts, they each picked out Mickey Mouse Ear Hats. Here's the kids their choices. Thanks, Gma and Gpa!
I love the hats! You guys are so lucky they ahd such great hats to buy as souvenirs. I love the picture of Kimball - he looks so serious, just like R2D2 would . . .
ReplyDeleteCool hats kids. You showed us them on Skype and they look like a lot of fun. By the way you were dressed it looked like it was pretty warm. When you got that wet you were probably glad of that.
